Tetelco Rural Store

The Rural House Project was developed to meet the growing needs of a local business selling agricultural supplies, providing a larger and more efficient retail space. The design prioritizes preserving the garden, which features various fruit trees, while introducing a new lighting room for product displays and sales.

The architectural design draws inspiration from traditional housing styles in Mexican towns, while incorporating modern techniques and materials. The basement is constructed with stone, the structure with concrete, and the roof is covered in iron sheets. This combination of materials creates a striking contrast between the new building and the surrounding rural landscape.
