Wellness by Design is a book that showcases a collection of saunas from around the world. The publication features a variety of projects that reveal the charm and beauty behind the architecture of these restorative and self-reflective spaces. For this project, we were asked to lead the editorial design, developing a contemporary layout that is both functional and attractive.
Although the book was approached as a “coffee table” book, this didn’t mean it lacked rich textual information. In fact, special attention was given to the introduction of each text, both in the copy and its typographic expression. One of the greatest challenges was maintaining a cohesive direction in all the photographs displayed in the book. To achieve this, each project was closely reviewed, and a thorough selection of images was meticulously made.
